Developer Harwood International funds a new tower north of downtown Dallas
The Harwood No. 14 high-rise will open in 2023.
Developer Harwood International has secured funding for its 27-story office tower under construction north of downtown Dallas.
The 360,000-square-foot Harwood No. 14 high-rise is being built on Harry Hines Boulevard near the Dallas North Tollway.
The new office tower is already 45% leased to tenants including law firm Haynes and Boone LP.
Harwood International said that JLL Capital Markets has secured joint venture equity for the project. Details of the agreement were not disclosed.
JLL Capital Markets’ Bill Fishel and DJ Meagher handled the transaction.
The Harwood No. 14 tower is scheduled to open in mid-2023.
The building was designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates, HDF and Corgan. Manhattan Construction Co. is the general contractor.
The office building will include a two-story lobby, a landscaped terrace with a view of downtown and upper-level gardens.
It’s the latest addition to the developer’s 19-block Harwood District, which is planned for 11 million square feet of offices between Victory Park and Uptown.
