The Perot Museum of Nature & Science this morning announced a $6 million donation from the Moody Foundation, putting it over the museum’s $185-million fundraising goal.
The museum being built at 1155 Broom St. is scheduled to open in 2013.
Zhuhai, 13 November 2011. Aston Martin Racing rounded off the 2011 motorsport season with third position in the unofficial petrol category at the Six Hours of Zhuhai, having finished sixth overall in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup finale.
Laguna Seca, 17 September 2011. Aston Martin has won the annual Laguna Seca American Le Mans Series Race. Under sunny skies, in a race dominated by yellow flags, the team ran faultlessly for 6 hours to take the top spot on the podium. Drivers Adrian Fernandez (MEX), Stefan Mücke (D) and Harold Primat (CH) drove the Aston Martin DBR1-2 consistently in the top three, and in the final hour remained dominant in first position.

For the first time in Europe, the musée du quai Branly presents the exceptional collection of samurai armor from The Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum, Dallas. The exhibition aims to show the public the culture, lifestyle and art of the samurai warrior in Japanese society over almost nine centuries through various types of objects, including full suits of armor, helmets, and full horse armor, used for both battle and ceremonial parades.
